I know there are some blogs listed in the knowledge base (WIKI!!) but I want to get the rest of the microstock blogs added to my RSS reader before the earnings reports on May 1st.  Can anyone link me to the blogs they know about?

Thanks!

Google?

Unhelpful?

I did a google search first of course - I want to add MORE to my reader than I currently have via a search.  If people have crappy SEO, I still may want to read their blog.  I don't want my reading to be constrained to who understands pagerank.

At the risk of exposing an area of gross ignorance... what's the benefit of RSS... and do you have any tips to using it??

I use RSS to read all the blogs i want to read in one place, once or twice a day.  I happen to use Bloglines but Google Reader does the same thing.  Basically I have a section for stock blogs, photography blogs, business blogs, my friends etc.  Whenever they update, I can see that in my reader - so instead of visiting 20 pages to read 20 blogs, I visit one and read it like a newspaper.

If people have crappy SEO, the blogs are not worth reading.

which microstock blogs do you have so far?

there is also a blog on most of the stock websites themselves that you could ad.

Thanks for that! Will have to give it a go - might cut down on my procrastination time!

Anyone is welcome to read my blog on stock photography. For me, I like to look at all aspects of shooting stock regardless of micro, traditional or rights-managed:  http://www.ronshoots.com/

And comments are always welcome!

So far I have these feeds:

Microstock Diaries
Flemish Dreams
JRTB
123RF
Microstock News
Microstock Photography
Pixels Away
Ron Shoots
StockPhotoTalk
Microstock Experiment
http://bankizdjec.pl/ (in Polish)
Driftless Ramblings
calev photo

I did have Pixels Away and Ron Shoots BEFORE they posted. ;)  MicrostockNews.net is new to me so I'm glad for that one too.

I did for awhile have some of the agency blogs on - but Dreamstime's blog RSS that i could find was for EVERYONE's blog - which meant it got updated 15-30 times a day.  Too much especially when a lot of people are posting to try & earn credits.  I didn't find a specific one for IStock, SS, or FT - I used to have LO and DT and now I'm just down to 123RF's.
