But these upcoming holidays are celebrations of mass consumerism, which means lots of ads, and lots of stock being sold.  ;)

Yeah, since I have been in this business I stopped complaining about the commercialization of Christmas.  Now holiday season is bread and butter for all of us!

(Hmmm, maybe I should go photograph some bread and butter... :) )

Last day of the month - milking day.  Time to milk the accounts late tonight around midnight, for the most accurate monthly reports ;)

For me this month will probably be about 7% down from last month's total sales, but that's not bad at all for it being the slowest month of the year.

Believe it or not....right now is the time to start preparing for Xmas. Halloween, and
Thanksgiving don't hold a candle to Xmas combined.

That is to say don't ignore them, but do concentrate, focus and target Xmas as you move
into the Fall season.

I might mention this as a last note in, my personal opinion: There seems to be agreement
among us photogs that when there appears to be a lull in sales we offer up the excuses
such as "well it's Summer"..."it's the holidays"...etc

So...if that's the case then that's all the more reason to start early on your holiday projects.

Microstock make the holiday season even more longer. My brain have not totally recovered from the last year christmas songs

For this year I have my room reserved in a psychiatric hospital

Absolutely. I've been getting holiday downloads at least once or twice a day for the past two weeks.

I like MIZ. his sensor of humor is a God's gift! Sometimes he crossed the boarders of decency. What is  intriguing that there are was a brilliant predecessor of the same extraction.
