Hey guys,

It's been awhile. I woke up to find a link in my inbox to a interesting post someone had wrote about me being a shithead and a loser because I sell my photos at microstock sites. Thought I would pass it along http://bit.ly/f3oMFL

Not sure why out of all the millions of people out there selling stock he singled me out. Guess I should be flattered, right?

I would not even give it a second thought. All the time that blog has been up...it still has zero followers.

My new blog with 5 post has 4 followers at least.

Plus I dont know what I am doing with blogging.

Agreed, Mark Adamus is great photographer!

Double agreed, that person who runs that blog seems a little disturbed. Why spend so much time bashing people? Talk about a complex.

Well, that guy clearly has some axe to grind. It's very insulting he targeted you personally, but it's good to see you are taking it in stride and having a sense of humor about it.

This guy's "facts" are bogus too. He states that "there are probably fewer than 10 people in the entire world making a living from microstock photography". The median annual salary in the US for photographers is 53k (http://www1.salary.com/photographer-Salary.html) I personally know of a couple of hundred, at least, who make that or more in micro.

haha that's a good point. To personally attack someone out of the blue, who is just getting on with his life and in my opinion is incredibly successful, is truly vile. I'm not sure if I would handle something like this quite as good as Travis is. I'm sure there is something physiological here. Maybe the guy who wrote the blog has been called and labelled a loser so many times in his life, he now projects this same hate on to others. You never know!

Look on the bright side - no such thing as bad publicity.
It's very sad to take out one's lack of self esteem on others. Google reveals he hasn't had much support elsewhere either

It is truly extraordinary. I'm sure anyone reading that would conclude that the actual 'sh!thead loser' is clearly the author of the blog. He needs treatment.

I had that trouble too, but stumbled across it following some other links. On one of the pages he even talks about a manifesto, blah blah blah. Sounded like the unibomber. Good grief.
