Hello ! I have a question and maybe you could help me. I always shoot the same person that is my wife. Is there a way that I can upload only one model release for every shooting ? I'm not sure it's accepted. If I can, what should I write on the model release form to make sure it is approved ? It such a waste of time to fill the form everytime. Thanks for you help

It is really up to the stock site if they will take one release. If it is your wife she most likely want sue you. Then again you never know. To be safe it is always a good idea to have a signed release for each session with correct shoot date. Not a bad idea to put a description of clothes/location of models also on model release.

Increasingly sites are not accepting this. You may also find in the future that sites you want to upload to won't. I would say its a sound investment to have a release for each shoot. Is it really that time consuming?

Not sure how it works on most sites, but on istock you can use the same model release forever if it is a photo of yourself. Thus make a new account for her and then upload all her photos there, then you won't need to make a new release each time. Of cause doing it this way isn't without extra work. Thus this solution doesn't necessarily make it easier for you.

I do a year long release for my kids, my parents (both mine and in-laws) and my spouse. So far no problems except with Getty. Getty still make me do a unique MR for each shoot, and it's a bit of a pain, especially as they are hit and miss on even accepting an Easy Release MR (even though they state it's approved by them). But, really, it's not really that much work to make a new one each time if you're using an app that pre-fills all the info in.

So releases covering a WHOLE MONTH of photos are no longer accepted at the main sites? I remember when you could submit yearly releases to iStock back in the day...

Can somebody please confirm this? Thanks.
