Hello all,  I'd like to know what you guys would recommend to create your own site to sell your own OR direct buyers to agencies to buy stock images, footage, etc...  I don't want to spend much so I'd like to keep it limited to zenfolio, smugmug, sqaurespace,... type of web design.  Thanks very much.

the days of making $ from your own website are over

if you just want to direct people to your portfolio on SS,  a basic website that most host offer is cheap and easy to set up, and uses minimal html  -- I do that from my home page at http://cascoly.com

it can be a simple link, or a page with more content that also links to your portfolio.  for example

click on Croatia  to go directly to my portfolio; ( the actual link is https://www.shutterstock.com/g/cascoly?searchterm=Croatia&sort=newest)

 click on Morocco and you get more info on Morocco and a link to the photo gallery
