Title: Using Date (Year) in Key Words
Post by: tab62 on November 29, 2012, 21:01
Hi MSG Folks,

I've noticed that some folks us they year (i.e., 2012) within their keywords. I was told a while back to be careful not to put anything in my keywords that would make my photo expire such as the expiration date on food. I understand pics like for a New Year's celebration or coins that have a date on them but why on just regular photos such as a tree or flower?  I am attempting to make my pics not fade away in time or at least not say within 5 to 10 years. I don't shot fashion or fades as well to avoid the expiring photos as well.

Thanks.

Tom

nope. The are just regular photos- I was surprised to see the 2012 within the keywords myself. Do the buyers want current pics thus looking for dates? I use the word 'Modern' in some of my pics...
