Hi guys,
Anyone is using ipad Pro for part of the workflow?
For photo editing, sketching and publishing a video?
For photo workflow, I understand best is staying in front of big monitor. But how about using it as tethering tool?
For sketching with apple pencil, does it complete the workflow as you don't need another computer?
Same as video editing, does it complete the workflow and don't need another computer.
read up some review but would like to know any users out there that can share first hand experience.
thank you.

I use it for photos all the time. I use it everywhere, on the sofa, on the train. Much better than 8 hours glued to a desk.
I would love to use it for video, but still need a good editing software that stabilizes well.

I do not have an opinion but a semi offtopic comment.
....as long as you do not use it when being a guest in a wedding or event!....
the most annoying bulky thing to get into one's frame!!
:P :D

how about experience to use it for sketching?
if i need to sketch on paper than scanned to computer and finish the rest.. low productive..
so I ipad pro with apple pencil can complete a job from sketching to final illustration that will be useful as it is something you can bring along and finish whenever you are in mood.

I think taking photos using ipad wasn't really common anymore ;D used to see a lot when people use ipad and ipad mini for photos.. but i guess most realize not so practical all shift to the phones.
Same thing that few years ago I always got annoyed like people in tourist spot always searching eye contact for a photo. Then I think everyone realize most of the time a stranger took suck photos ;D so now they are get a traveling partner who takes turn photo each other.

It had crossed my mind recently that when I travel, I could bring my iPad instead of bring my laptop. Then just remotely connect to my laptop via 'teamviewer' app and do work that way. I've been weary of losing my laptop while traveling, hence why I thought about using a iPad instead.

For vector and illustration it’s certainly very useful. There are absolutely awesome apps out there. Photo editing is limited, your best bet for RAW processing is Affinity Photo, a great little app, but sadly it’s nowhere near desktop PS. Video is almost hopeless, only very basic editing can be done. The recent video apps are a joke, all of them, can’t even be compared to premiere or davinci resolve. They were meant to cut little clips, shot on the phone for social media.
However i find the bottleneck to be something else: the total lack of file management on IOS. Until there’s a new operating system, the ipad has no chance to be considered as laptop replacement.
