(5) Stock Performer provides the Customer with a browser plug-in which allows the Customer to access its sales data with agencies and transmit it to Stock Performer. Sales data is downloaded each time the Customer logs in to its account, upon manual request or automatically once per hour when logged in. The data is transmitted to the Customer's end device. The Customer can interrupt and stop transmission at any time.

(1) Under the Market Performance Program Stock Performer will aggregate the anonymized sales data of all participating users and carry out a statistical evaluation. Some parts of these statistical evaluations will be made available to the participating users in a summarized form.

(2) Stock Performer has the right to aggregate the anonymized sales data of the participating users, to carry out a statistical evaluation and analyze and use the data in any way. In particular, Stock Performer has the right to publish such data and to make it available both to other Market Performance Program participants and to third parties.

according to that stats site with the bird logo (I forgot the name), I am above the 93 percentile in earnings of all stock contributors. So I make more than 93% of photographers and videographers.

I have 20,000 videos and about 50,000 photos (half online, rest are pending upload).

I make about $35,000 a year from stock.

good luck

Ignore this guy.

So, as I thought, no more than the stats of those participating.
Whereas of course unonimous said he was "I am above the 93 percentile in earnings of all stock contributors"

If you keep the non-exclusive and exclusive portfolios and maintain them with good team. A good business with earning more than $150K an year is possible. There are lots of guys on DT who are exclusive and did well. I know one guy personally, he started with vectors and now has team of 12 people in his business and just does stock only.

This is the market of volume. First have the goods to sell and then find the place and model to sell. Thats how it works. I am planning to move my base to London with full time Stock business being operated there with team of 5-6 people to begin with.

I wonder if there is a potential clash with Shutterstock's and possibly others ToS?

"By submitting any Content to Shutterstock, you acknowledge that you will acquire certain confidential and proprietary information, including but not limited to royalty rates, royalty payments and earnings data (collectively, "Confidential Information"). Title says it all. I'm genuinely interested in figuring out how can I make $150k/year from stock photos/videos?
It's fun to do - now I'd like to figure out how to reach those numbers.
Its quite easy. Upload 3000 images at the big three. Wait a year, to get the RPI / Year.
If your RPI ist 1 - you just need to upload 150.000 images. The Lifetime of an image may be 3 Years.
So you just have to upload 150.000 images every 3 Years. Quite simple.

of course once you start creating teams, with HR, salaries, payroll taxes, etc, etc, that 150K rapidly becomes a smaller number than was posed by OP  -- the chances for a single photog to make 150K from stock is vanishingly small today

Of course and to have a business where you can "make" 150K in the sense of giving yourself that kind of salary is not a simple task.

To be fair though that isn't actually true.
