Title: We made a new stock video website!
Post by: cliffordthebigreddog on August 11, 2020, 21:15
Hi guys, hope you are well. If you haven't seen my older posts, I am making a new stock video website, and have gathered a team to develop a convenient, efficient service for both buyers and sellers. We are almost ready to launch our website and show it to you, but there are still some things to be done. So in the meantime, this is our official Facebook page, where we will be uploading and introducing our stock video assets, creators, share sneak peeks of our website and PRE-UPLOAD event (coming soon!) details, and behind-the-scenes of our team at work. So please check out our fb page, and like our page for support, it would mean so much 😊

Here's our official fb page: https://www.facebook.com/playstockgroup/ (https://www.facebook.com/playstockgroup/)

This is a link to our survey. Please take this so that we can make a better stock experience for you! 🙌

What are the royalties?

And what you gonna do, to compete with other agencies?

So right now we haven't come to a decision about the commission rate. I am sending out these surveys because I genuinely want to know what works for all of you guys, so I can implement that onto our service. So I'm hoping to get more responses because at the moment we don't have enough data to make an educated decision.

As for the competition bit, you can rest assured that we are working on something, but I can't say too much about it until the official website is launched!

Really, though, what’s the USP that makes buyers care?

May I wish you Best of Luck going forward. I stopped doing stock video quite a few Years ago. I still do It for client work. What I wanted to do and the type Of work I enjoyed doing wasn't really stock oriented.

Wish you this best..........

Commission rate: 50%. It's fair, it's easy to calculate royalties, and it leaves enough of a financial margin for the agency (which allows room for advertising, hiring competent people etc.).

But I'm curious about how you plan to differentiate from the strong competition. So I'll ask as well: what is your USP to the buyer?

Nobody listens to your words in your real environment and you have to come to the forum to show your great brain, your great sympathy and how poorly paid and recognized you are in real life? Should I put a red carpet for your walk and should I bow to such universal talent?
