what's going on with Vivozoom these days? haven't heard anymore from the last time . Their site was supposed be up in summer .Anyone been uploading to them?

That's a good question. They seem to have dropped off the map. There was beta testing of the site happening but can't say where they are at these days.

Our images are there, and I have no problem accessing the upload page. Above the orange bar, next to the Vivozoom logo is where you click to submit images, dashboard, or help. Try there.

Thanks, I hadn't been there in a while, and signed in
on the front page instead of the submitter's link. Got it
now, but they could use a link on the front page for us.

I uploaded 80 a few months ago but haven't had any sales yet. Has anyone sold anything there yet?

And what does that mean in $? They disclosed they would be just another suckscription site.

About 1200 images online. 17 sales so far and it equals 6.5$ This is extremly low. I hope the site will perform better in the future.

That's 0.38$ per download, as much as ShutterStock. So it is a subscription site, and not even one that sells in volume.

This is exactly the reason why I've chosen not to waste my precious time until a site has established itself. Slow earners actually cost you more money than the $5 an hour you might make on sales in the first months. If the average microstocker with a portfolio of at least 1000 images can't hit at least one payout a month, the the site not even worth a second glance. I wish vivozoom the best, I mean I have no problem with up and comers that want to build a solid business model. It's nothing personal, but I need to stop myself from even being tempted from uploading to sites that are just starting out. For my own good. They suck away your time from spending it in areas where you know you will actually be able to improve your sales.

After Snap and Lucky Oliver proved a complete waste of time I refused to learn better and got sucked into Yay which has proven -- at least with my images -- to be even a worse producer. Thank goodness I didn't mess with Vivozoom and the dozens or so other late arrivals. Neebies take notice.
Sometimes it just takes more than just one two-by-four up alongside the head.

The problem is that if we don't give some new sites a chance, we will be stuck with just a few sites that might end up being taken over or merging and cutting our commissions. istock now run StockXpert and have cut our commissions with photos.com.
It took so little time to upload to zymmetrical, cutcaster, mostphotos and yaymicro and I have had paypots from all of them. People said avoid snap village but I now have my portfolio on veer and that looks promising. I lost out with albumo and I wish I had avoided some others but I should of done more research before uploading. I have only uploaded 80 to vivozoom because something didn't feel right.
For those with a small portfolio, concentrate on the big sites but if you have a big portfolio and get regular payouts from the big six, it might be worth supporting new sites, as long as they can prove that they are doing all they can to get sales and they are not undercutting the other sites.

I agree with you sharpshot. This problem is not only in the microindustry. Itīs in every branch there is. Do you shop electronics, food and clothes at you local stores? Prob not much. They canīt afford in the long run to compete with the big ones, and have the same service. If they do, they get bought out.
Itīs kind of sad. But almost impossible to stop. Try paddeling against the stream... :-[
