What has your biggest "win" been in 2023?

Was it a big sale from a stock site you didn't expect? Was it getting a sale from an image you didn't rate or was it just getting accepted by a stock company you didn't think you would?

Love to hear some good news stories, so type away!

Actually kind of all of the above... Grateful that:

a) Had a few licenses (both images & videos) that were decent $
b) Working with a few (newish for me) stock sites that helped generate some additional revenue.

I had my first two sales with Arcangel Images and got to see my photo on a book cover.

After 13 years i'm still here, fulltime contributor, earnings are still growing, despite all the catastrophic news i've heard in these years.
The funny thing is that since the ai boom, my sales have had a solid boost...but i don't submit any ai generated content. Maybe there
are many customers that appreciate the 'old school' style :)

That after a 10 year break and my income down to often less than 10 dollars a month on most agencies, it is still possible to regrow my business and wake up my ports with steady fresh uploads.

It will take quite a while to a full time income, but if you spend the time looking for the content that is missing on agencies, you will make sales.

We survived the free images from unsplash, we will also survive ai.

I love my job. Now I must find a way to increase my output.

1) After about 10 years in stock business, finally took the time to create my own website and print shop. So now I'm better prepared to leave microstock behind

2) Deleted all images on Shutterstock

Adobe Stock sales are amazing for me, they just keep getting better -- better than ever, to be frank. SS isn't too shabby and I'll get the larger $$ licenses there, not so much on AS. DepositPhotos is a huge surprise for me, as I sell a decent amount every month. And I'll never give up Dreamstime - for some reason, their customers like to by my images to use in printed books. I love seeing my work in print in major publications. I can pick up any newly released travel book for a destination I've been to and so far, without fail, is at least one of my photos in that book.

End of February, sold one photo for $659.53.  It's a problem, since it will never happen again and I'll alway be disappointed with every day's earnings.
