Title: What if I resubmit photos months later?
Post by: snem on November 25, 2006, 03:11
This is the story... I have some photos accepted almost on every site but not in one: what if I resubmit the photos 3 months later? I am talking about those images that I think were rejected by a "stressed" reviewer...

what was the reason they gave? how many photos are you talking about?

If you really feel they should be online how about adding a few to each new batch you upload to that site.

I usually don't bother reuploading.

The only situation I would send it back is if I realised what was wrong and if I was able to correct it.

Some sites allow us to leave a note to the reviewer, so you can mention you did correct accordingly to the problem they have mentionned and that you would like a second review.

But of course it is possible that your photo will be accepted without any change... and it is also possible (not much probable, but possible) you get the same reviewer who maybe will remember you photo, so you will put yourself in trouble. Do you think you will do enough money with this particular photo on this particular site to take this chance?!    ???

Lately when I get a rejection I just resubmit the photo right away. They are almost always accepted. Oddly enough, the very few that have been rejected have come back with a different reason for rejection.

I have resubmitted images days after they were rejected when I don't see the problem they've pointed out, like in one image they said white background was not white (and it was!).  They were approved.  I haven't tried resubmitting images that were rejected by "having too many" or some "poor lighting" issue, but I might.
