I'm sure that in this case "Diesel" is a type of fuel, not a trademark :)

Wow, amount of white blank space in the first image... I had stuff rejected for 1/4 of that. And why would he even shoot someone's wearing a trademarked t-shirt? Don't they have a giant closet full of proper clothing?...;-)
Wouldn't be surprised he has special deal with Fotolia (like no reviews at all).

Anyone also see she is standing near the edge of the paper and the wall is visible behind her lower legs; how did they miss this.

I don't know why I continue to be surprised by human nature. I know there isn't any kind of rule (here) about not posting links to someone else's work for the sole purpose of drawing attention to what you perceive as a mistake/injustice/I've-run-out-of-charitable-reasons-behind-your-intention. And as there is no such rule, other than common human decency, my opinion counts for nothing. But I have to wonder at the motivations of posting, and commenting on these. We all make mistakes, I'm sure we have images that wouldn't pass inspection today. I'm sure we can all find examples of images that were accepted in error. I'm also sure, however, that in my own little book, singling out a photographer's work for this kind of ridicule is crass. Not that Yuri needs me as an apologist.

Agreed. This is pretty pathetic. Akin to scouring over the graded paper of the top student in class, hunting for a mistake... while your own test marked "F" sits on your desk mocking you.

And your name is oxymoronic right?

And your name is oxymoronic right?
Ummm.... My name is Elena Elisseeva. I am one of the best-selling microstock photographers in the world. Who exactly are you and why are you calling me stupid?
Did you hide all your personal info so you can anonymously call people names?
-
It is possible he has a release from Diesl for the photo.. I wouldn't put that past Yuri to do.. If not, then yes it is a glaring error, but why would he shoot that in the first place, without knowing he was going to have to have it released or get rejected? I doubt Yuri just forgets to look at stuff like that before he starts shooting.. Although who knows..

I love the explosiveness of beautiful Russian women; always sweet, tender and loving but don't push them or insult them.

Thatīs your opinion and I respect it but I must say that this is not acceptable.. I am not even going to talk about the diesel logo.. I guess we must be equal in this industry (small or big) reviews must be done properly

thatīs exactly what I said.. pictures were uploaded in mistake! the main picture in this post wasnīt edited (she isnīt even in focus) it was on a delete folder but was upload in mistake!.. my issue was that Fotolia approved without even looking

Wow __ you found a mistake somewhere within the 42,000 images that Yuri has uploaded at FT. You must be very pleased with yourself. Let us know when you've uploaded a similar amount of images so that we can do a fair comparison.

His issue is not that there is a mistake in Yuri's portfolio, but the fact that Fotolia approved without even looking... if only he expressed it clearly.... oh wait - I think he did! In exactly same words! ;)
But like I said before I strongly suspect that Yuri has some kind of special deal with Fotolia. So if they agreed to take it all, they'd get his team's mistakes, too. Which are funny to look at. End of story...
-
... But like I said before I strongly suspect that Yuri has some kind of special deal with Fotolia ...
Sheesh! You 'strongly suspect' do you? Nothing much gets past your radar does it? Well __ apart from the "Yuri only" commission rise last year for instance, etc, etc. Of course Yuri has a 'special deal' with FT. They don't even bother to disguise it. So what? Unless you are Yuri it doesn't concern you.

jeez you are always on fire and with fire, I guess you are old enough to behave and talk politely

We are on it.

Thanks luissantos84 for bringing this to my attention.

Hi all. I am Yuri's quality control officer and this one slipped
-
Itīs obvious you get a special treatment from Fotolia. Iīd do the same If I had an agency. Itīs just a waste of time and money, reviewing 99,999% perfect photos. Anyone who sells images every 10th second get the same deal;)

I do not get special treatment. I get rejections too you know.

Sure you do! the 0.001% ones that aren't perfect :)
Just kidding... I have no problem with you getting or not getting special treatment.
I actually find it motivating.

No doubt reviewers sometimes see a name and think "oh, that guy's work will be OK" and click the approval button. Sometimes things can happen due to laziness rather than from a conspiracy.
-
Nothing much gets past your radar does it?
That's right. Including the fact that you constantly seem to have a bug up your ass. (let him out already...:))
-
Ok, well I can't see this thread solving any problems that aren't already solved ;) ... so I suppose I'll close it down.
And no, in general picking on someone's portfolio isn't acceptable on the forum. I didn't see this thread until now, but even so I don't feel luissantos84 was really trying to 'out' Yuri, or make fun of him ... I don't think anyone really questions Yuri's quality - it was more a matter of fact that a mistake was made. If anyone wants to go through my port. and find mistakes (I'm sure there are plenty) I'd be happy they did so... it would save me the trouble of doing it myself.
