I wonder where Graphic Artist belong, High Tech or Media & Entertainment industry?
I would say it's either Media & Entertainment or Consumer Products and Services, depending on what you do.
Given your avatar, I had thought you worked for Energizer. ;)
BTW, who are my "Energy & Power" colleagues?

what?
No "Microstock tormentor" category?

what?
No "Microstock tormentor" category?
This always makes me laugh. Over the years there has been so many that many microstockers dont take a lot of notice, certainly not enough to call it "microstock tormentor". Imo "microstock whinger" is often more appropriate (maybe not in your case I haven't taken enough notice).
Often it is just "professionals" having tantrums and crying for sweeties, thinking they are clever when they just look like spoilt litte children seeking attention (and if they grew up a bit they'd realise that they actually do more damage than good to "their cause", they are more likely to get the people who even notice them to say FU and become even more committed to micro).
They never provide links to ports for people to learn from or to admire (so everyone assumes they are just a 3rd rate photog), never supply financial or any other real info (so they are probably just some part-timer wannabe), never answer real questions (they dont know the answers), they just jump up and down yelling and carrying on... commiting lots of time to making themselves look stupid...
I'm talking in general terms, so please don't take it personal. As I said I haven't taken enough notice of your posts, maybe your different.

Maybe I should have only had 3, Photographer, Entrepreneur or Other ;D
It is quite interesting so far and blows a few pre-conceptions away, with over 25% making a full time living from photography that would include microstock revenue as 'all or part' of thier income, Illustrators might have selected other or media which increases the number.
The other main industries that have high numbers are the more high paid job sectors, 'boys with thier toys' and not Joe public with thier point & shoot, how many of these would ever earn enough from photography to give up the day job, it might be considered a sideline in retirement, which shows that the part time revenue from microstock might not be the main reason for contributing in a lot of cases, I like many had my DSLR kit before I even discovered microstock and a few IT guys I work with have top drawer DSLR cameras just for social use.
