Opportunity to sell some of my existing images to a specialized stock house that is offering a % of revenue from each image sale (royalty free).
They have two options available:
1) They do the retouching and image prep (which is considerable due to some technical aspects and customer requirements) and I just supply them with RAW files.
2) I handle the retouching and image prep and supply them with finished files. I suspect that each image will take about an hour of retouching time.
Their market is fairly small/vertical but so is their library so odds are pretty good for getting my images sold.
The question is... :o
... how much should I be expecting to get in terms of my % for option 1? Option 2?
8)

Maybe multiple choice will make it easier. ;D
To clarify: I ask what to "expect" because this is going to be a negotiated % so wondering what I should be aiming for (100% right? 8)). I don't have a lot of knowledge about what's standard for something like this (newb).

Ok. I guess this wasn't an easy question. ??? Is there somewhere that I can see aggregated what Top/Middle Tier sites pay in terms of %s (aside from each site's terms page)?

Even that wouldn't be as much help as you'd think. Some sites offer bigger percentages, but don't sell much.
As they say, 80% of nothing is nothing.

You might like to clarify: are you considering selling your images 'to' a stock house, or through them?
Are they offering you the chance to negotiate terms? It's usually only the well-established mega-top-sellers who get to haggle over the terms. The rest of us bottom-feeders have to be grateful for the crumbs which happen to drop fro their table.
I see it's a specialised agency, but also RF - the two don't usually sit comfortably together. Just a thought.
