Title: When do you blur ?? Always ???
Post by: old crow on December 13, 2013, 08:59
An easy question at first.  Blur one area to highlight another right ?? Blur to create an effect, etc etc.  But there are times I think a few pixels of gaussian takes some of the "digital" out of digital.  I would like to ask if your workflow always includes a bit of blur ?  Sometimes my images seem too, something,  I am afraid to use the word sharp as it is what we strive for.

Thanks

Almost never blur. I let the buyer make that call.

I mostly use blur to get rid of noise, but also at other ocations, as in special effects.

Like most wildlife photographers, I routinely blur the backgrounds of my bird and critter images. It's all done in the camera, however, not in the computer.
