Shutterstock, Fotolia and Dreamstime are taking weeks to review my pictures. I know this is normal after the holidays, but I was wondering how long will it take until everything goes back to normal.
-
Maybe they're being swamped by exclusives leaving iStock and uploading huge portfolios at the others. (?)

I am sure it is the case at SS. Oldest now 10 days waiting already.

I messaged DT about that myself this morning. They are roughly 110,000 deep in images.

SS is taking a week to review since more than 1 year ago perhaps, a little faster in January but the 24h or less are gone and believe will never get back

Shutterstock always reviewed my photos in 3-4 days back in December. Well, a week would be fine too, but I sent some pictures more than 2 weeks ago and there's still no answer...I thought this is happening because of the holidays but didn't even think about the Istock issue :-\

Hello guys,
Our "regular" queues are currently at a few days. The vector queue is a little longer, because we have specialists that look at vectors. If you're experiencing a wait on the magnitude of 10 days or more - that suggests that there was either a problem with the submission or that the submission was flagged by a reviewer. A submission could be flagged because there were issues with the images or because a reviewer had questions and wanted input from a senior reviewer.
The best recourse in any scenario in which a batch is taking an exceptional and unreasonable amount of time (for example, over 7 days or more for photos or videos during a regular workweek) is to reach out to support at [email protected].

Weird, I submitted 3 batches in Jan so far and it always took them less than 36h to review. In my case reviews are a lot faster than last year, when I had to wait for approximately 4-5 days.

Im sure the migration of former IS exclusives to other agencies is taking up reviewers time everywhere these days.
