I do not really see why I should delete account. I'd rather stop submitting and check once in a while if I am having any sales.

Shouldn't there be a fourth option?
"Come to microstockgroup.com and rant with all my friends."
;)

Generally I just stop uploading but I want to remove my portfolio from albumo, that site has been a total waste of time.

Seconded! That's what I do and it really helps.
Quite often the agencies listen and adjust policies, and even if they don't, I feel better after a good rant :D

Depends on the agency and the reason why I lost my patience with them. After one year in the microstock business I have decided to keep accounts only on 3 sites out of the original 12 (will attempt to go Exclusive at DT and keeping accounts at SS and FT just in case I want to quit the exclusivity one day).
At the moment, I am trying to have my Albumo account deleted, but so far without any success (greetings to sharpshot :-)...

I stop uploading. Maybe one day the site will change something favourably? In general sites close before I give up on them. ;D

Adelaide

I'm in the minority by choosing to close out my account.
It gets old waiting a year, two years, almost three years to reach a first payout, and the idea of waiting another year or two or three for another payout seems totally ridiculous. It still takes time to check the site to see if there have been any sales, and those five minutes here and there add up to time I could be spending doing something more productive and actually generating income.
What made me decide to abandon a site all together was calculating how long it would take me to earn enough income to compensate me only for the time spent simply processing uploaded images to one particular site...nothing else (not upload time, not post-processing, not shooting time, not gear...just time spent on the site finishing the upload process). At the current rate of sales, I discovered if I left the images on the site, it would take me 9 more years to earn enough to pay me for that tiny amount of my time.
Forget that! The site probably won't even be around in 9 years! So why trouble myself with a low producing site when there are other sites that will and do compensate me within a reasonable amount of time? Nine years...plus the 2 1/2 I'd already wasted waiting for my first $50 payout...isn't reasonable. It's ridiculous.

As usual I have comments on the survey questions. ;D
I have deleted all photos except one, on one site, just in case I change my mind. All but the five that had reviewers ticks at another. All but two at two other sites.
4) Delete almost all my photos so my account is protected.

Agencies are like a girl friends. It depends on what you want in the relationship. Friendship, dinner, honey, or money?
