Title: Which additional agency
Post by: Rainer123 on September 29, 2015, 03:40
Hello everybody,

right now im on SS, FT, 123RF, IS, DT and Alamy with descending priority coming down the list. My portfolio is 80 % editorial and travel.

I wonder if another agency is worth the effort? Is there any trending site?

Thanks
Rainer

Probably not but everyone has different experiences you wont know till you try.

Almost the same story, I'm testing EZ as well, 21 sales by far.

EZ?

Must be something other than micro as amperial says in another thread he/she quit micro stock.  Not sure when, though. They joined MSG Oct 9. Not sure why they would join a micro stock site if they quit micro stock.  Maybe to give us some quality advice?

With travel/editorial, you're pretty much covered by the agencies you submit to already. You can try Bigstock, but they tend to be picky about editorial captions. Canstock is easy to upload to (no editorial though). But don't expect wonders. Maybe 1-5% increase in sales depending on your pics and luck.

EZ?
ezmediart, quite new, but I usually test each and everyone.

I have no clue how they can be successful. Their collection is not very good nor large enough to attract serious buyers.

I see their royalty to contributers is 70%, which is great, but as mantis said their collection is extremely limited, so my guess would be that sales are few and far between.

Just wondering, what was the criteria for your 'test', if I may ask.

Thx

EZ seems a little bit weak to me too, cannot see a real concept.

Guess that leaves Bigstock as an option....

The criteria is quite simple. If it works, means I get sales, I stay, if not: I leave.
