What is happening at Videoblocks?

Probably due to competition from other websites and other contributors.

What was VideoBlocks' original business model? Was it doing to video what Shutterstock did to photos?
fyi - not a rhetorical question.

Well the prices went from $49 to $79... so their USP was that they were $30 cheaper than most other places. Now they're the same price as most other places, so people may as well shop around. Probably other reasons as well, but I'm sure that has a bit of an impact.

Well I guess we can guess how this may play out
With next to no sales, the pitch will be to lower prices in order to boost sales, and the steady descent will continue

They've already done that. Sales tanked further. They are just like any other agency who chooses to use the phrase "we expect sales volume to increase by cutting your royalties", when in fact they cannot possibly believe that when historically that hasn't worked with virtually any agency I have been with in over 10 years.

I used to get a few sales each month from videoblocks and my last sale was back in Oct.
