Hi all
[This is a copy of a posting I made on the ShutterStock site. Sorry for boring the pants of anyone that's already read it on there but I thought it might be useful to post it here, too, as it's not SS-specific.] ;D
I've been neglecting my uploads for a while now and the reason is I've been putting together a new web-site that I would really appreciate some input on.
I want to make it clear that I consider myself a learner here - I've learned loads from these forums and I aim to go on and on learning. But I've always struggled to find my way back to things that I thought were useful - be it on here or on a different web-site or forum or whatever, the search functions can only help so much.
So I thought a wiki site for photo techniques might be a good idea – somewhere we can all post useful techniques and edit / comment on other people’s offerings. It isn’t a forum as such - I wouldn’t dream of trying to improve on this forum. It’s more somewhere to add and comment on techniques.
The site is up and running :) but at the moment I have very few (just some of my own) techniques on there :-\. I’d really really appreciate some of your contributions to help it along. So, please, if you have any nice little tips you want to share, get on there and post them. :)
The URL is: www.phototechniquesWiki.com (http://www.phototechniquesWiki.com)
Now I can get back to exercising that shutter finger – just in time for the autumn colours! :)
Thanks in advance for any contributions you make.
Steve
