Unfortunately, in my long (!!) life, I've known many other men just like him. I find the best approach is to ridicule them back. In this case, it does seem to get under his skin, which is fine with me.

The same sad things happen now, in Ukraine, because of Putin, instead of Milosevic.
Many people die in Ukraine and many more will die, without anyone moving more than a few symbolic fingers.

NATO failed to deter the war and war crimes in former Yugoslavia, the same way NATO fails to deter the war and war crimes in Ukraine.

Putin is falsely quoting an inexistent agreement (you believed existed), using NATO as a scapegoat, to justify his dreams of a Greater Russia. He will not stop with Ukraine.

His rhetoric is also using the Yugoslavian wars to justify his invasion of Ukraine.
If anyone, YOU should be the one seeing through his crap.

Yes, that's where we went wrong. Perhaps because it was first seen as an internal quarrel of a country falling apart after Tito.
Two years ago we were in Slovenia where the problems started. In 2015 we were in Trogir near Split and it was almost impossible to imagine what a misery it was there.

This is not a debate! This is a rage against Russia. And anybody having different opinion is just called Putin's bot, or is commented with Nonsense, you don't believe in what you just say and similar. And you also see it. And that is why I got involved here, although my English is so bad. I couldn't believe there is such an amount of hate in people. And when I even found out these people are old, what? I wrote it earlier, but it was ignored, of course - people who hate this much would most likely torture a captured Russian solder, even women. I know that, I was in war, and i saw who are the people who torture captives. Just a thought about it makes me sick. These oldies are sitting in their comfortable chairs and hate, not even being aware how close they are to stick a sharp subject into someone eye. Sick old people. Not even aware of their feelings they wouldn't be able to control.

Sadam was a puppet of the US and was helped by them in 1968 to perform a coup. Until he got a big mouth and the US was done with him.

I really believe people should help themself, otherwise it will not work. The uprise really should come from within, otherwise it's doomed to fail. See for example Afghanistan. You cannot force your way of living upon a culture that does not understand it.
