Holy crap I miss you guys! You don't know me, but I know you. I was once the creative lead at [really big micro], and I saw your pictures every week. Saw how you grew and evolved. Read all your posts, and quietly cheered you on. I don't know why I am de-lurking now, but this community is so wonderful, I cheer you still. I left [really big micro] about a year and a half ago, but I still follow many of you.
:)
Cora, who got all misty eyed for a second.

What a nice post Cora. What are you up to now?
Hopefully a lower stress job than management in a micro agency... :)
-
hey there Cora, i like that holy crap intro. robin used to keep saying that, holy xxx batman !" ;D
jokes aside, i am not one to lurk around forums at the sites; spent too much time here, lol. so i don't really know where you were before this.
are we allowed to ask you which "big micro" you were with? or why you left.
i know most will just say, "for better things", but maybe it was starting to get a bit unpleasant for you or their culture started to not align with your original vision of it.
you're somewhere else now, so it shouldn't be a big secret , should it?
just curious.
if it is not a good idea to divulge which one of the big sites, not to worry. i understand. nice to see you here. hope you will contribute to share some expertise and insights while you 're here.

Took about 20 secs to find out which so why not just say?

I had to have [really big surgery] when I left [really big stock site], and spent a year recovering from that. Now I am back at Art School, learning a few new tricks. I have always been a less traditional stock photographer, as evidenced from my meager portfolios, and when I worked full time, had little time to focus on STOCK. I don't think I will ever be traditional really, and my first loves are fine art and creative portraiture, but I have time now, so who knows.
I was fiercely loyal to that site, and still am in some ways, but I won't disclose. Sorry.
Cora, the red haired lady of mystery.

A (really big) welcome to MSG.
I am looking forward to your active participation in the forums!

You know me?? Where I live and everything? And I don't!! That's freeky :o OMG there's actually 47 guests and 5 hiddens on MSG. Never thought about that. I go lock my door now...
Edit: Does hidden mean, in the bush looking at me? Or it's a site feature or something?

My grandmother, and my great-grandmother, were named Cora. Don't think I've ever met another. So here's a [really big] welcome to you! ;D

Welcome Cora!
(tan510)
Thanks for the nice thought but I don't belong on your list. Barely in the top 500 on Istock. Would need thousands of images to get to that point.

Just looked at your DT port. Our profiles match a bit at DT, "the unusual". I know it doesn't sell, or just sometimes, but birds of a feather shOUld stick together. Check your fAVs at DT but I have aNOTHEr nICk there. ;D
