Hi
If you only could chose 4 software programs from your PC for micro stock what would they be?
I would chose
Photoshop Elements 3,
Noise Ninja
Prostock master
Portrait Professional( i have just been given this as a Birthday present it is amazing )
have a great day happy Microstocking ;D
-
I would choose:
Photoshop CS3
3DS Max
Poser
Filezilla, I cannot imagine the hassle of uploading without an FTP program.
-
Cinema4D 8.5 (Wish I could afford to upgrade)
Photoshop 7 (Again, wish I could afford an upgrade)
Poser 6 (I HATE this with a passion, THE most unfreindly and clunky software I've EVER used, but sadly no alternative, and can't bring myself to upgrade)
Vue 6 Infinite (bought it about 3 months ago, and haven't had time to use it yet, so not really a 4th)
-
My four related to photography are:
- Photoshop CS
- Imagenomic noiseware
- Pixvue
- FastStone Image viewer
-
Photoshop 7.0
Elelments 3.0
Micrografx Picture Publisher 7a (yeah, I like it!! it does a lot of the simple stuff.... simply!! and it does it well. I had to do a search on the web to find this old version a couple years ago. For $14.95.... it does one monster heck-of-a job!!! Yes, I'm doing my pro work on a fourteen dollar program! Stuff I've got published in magazines and books, I massaged in Micrografx 7a.)
Yup, only three.. What I need is a good piece of software to organize my pic library... my homespun excel data base is getting to be a bit of a drag with over a 1,000 pix in it...

-
Lightroom
Photoshot CS2
Noise Ninja
-
Capture
Photoshop
Noiseware
Paintshop
I'll miss you Filezilla, but they say I can only have 4.
OMG... what will I do without explorer? How can I check my stats?
-
Lightroom
Adobe Creative Suite (Pro) ;)
-
Photoshop 5.5 (anyone use an older version than that)
Inkscape because its free.
Paint.net because its free
Irfan View because its free.
As you can see, I don't spend much on software :)
-
I use a 5.0 photoshop
-
- Photoshop CS3
- Capture One 3.7 (for raw conversions)
- Canon DPP for tethered shooting under MS Vista
- WinSCP (for FTP uploads)
Maybe I need some noise ware (still using cs3 noise reduction filter).

Thanks, Void... yeah.... several weeks ago I downloaded the beta version for a trial run........... and then never found the time to really play with it before it expired. I don't mind spending the bucks for a piece of software.. but I always like to hear personal critique and experience of others before I lay out the cash. 8)=tom
