Title: 123RF for fooage?
Post by: greenroom on June 04, 2019, 02:13
Hey all,
I've been selling footage in the last 3 years, started at SS, then at P5, Fotolia -> Adobe, Depositephotos and Storyblocks.
So at the last 18 months I had zero sales at Storyblocks, whats up with that? someone knows?
I decided to stop uploading there and was considering 123RF.
I saw that the uploading system is quite old and it's going to be a bit of a hassle.
Does anybody has some good experience over there?
Thanks!

Storyblocks is making it difficult for buyers to find our clips as they're pushing for their own collection subscriptions instead.

You've covered the main agencies for footage with Shutterstock, Pond5 and Adobe Stock. Vimeo Stock is also good.

123RF is not worth it for footage, same goes for DepositPhotos. Best to focus on creating more content instead.  :D

123RF is not okay in general.

Can you elaborate?

My elaboration is that 123RF is a crapy agency.

Not worth the time. Why? No sales.
