Just wondering if it's worth the time for uploading footage.
-
I have sold a couple of footage clips. They were through the fososearch site and the commission was more than I have received from other micros.
-
Thanks.
It appears that they're not quite popular among footage sellers.

As with ANY site, it depends on what you're selling...
My animations do pretty well on ClipCanvas and I make payout at least every other month.
-
i started putting photos on this week with about 350 images so far; got two sales in first days

One of the first sites I joined way back in the dark ages. i bailed out. I just came back and gave them 4000 and a bunch of footage . After being with 29 sites, this is by far the easiest site to upload to of all time and wish the others made it this easy. Put together brilliantly and since I left in 2006 Duncan has done a tremendous Job.. been back 2 weeks and sales are good. And yes, it's about what you submit. Always has been.

Yeah, anyone who left in the slow-sales days should reconsider, IMO. And any independant new to microstock is making a mistake if they don't put CanStockPhoto on their list of sites to submit to. The turnaround there is really somthing. So many things to like about CanStockPhoto now. Whenever 'that other site' makes me depressed about Canadian microstock companies, I visit CanStockPhoto and I feel better. ;D
