Title: Do you give video clips to models you hired?
Post by: helloitsme on May 01, 2019, 07:32
I used to give them, but stopped doing it because it's an extra work and don't want the clips to be exposed everywhere somehow.  Am I being stingy?

I don’t any longer unless they specifically ask nicely.

Haha!  I know.  Some models act like they have the rights to claim video clips.

I give some of the clips to the models, but I factor that in as part of what I'm paying them.

When I do a casting for a model/actor, I alway say I'm paying a little bit of money plus they'll get some high quality footage for them to use in their reel or social media.

It's pretty easy to zip up some of the finished clips and throw that up on dropbox for them to download.

I only give HD version of video clips if I give some, not 4K.  They don't need it.  I don't give the full sized photos either.  4,000 pixels the longest is enough.

I also watermark video clips with copyright claim if I give.
