Title: Dreamstime worth submitting video ?
Post by: Phadrea on November 11, 2017, 13:58
I submit to Fotolia, Storyblocks, SS and Pond5. The only odd sale I have had is with SS and Pond5. Is it worth uploading to DT as I have found the photos are selling a bit better this last month.

Not worth it.

I've made less than $100 there this year, compared to nearly $3000 at P5. Your results could be different, but that gives you an idea.

In my opinion it is a waste of time

I even removed my videos from DT after I found out how little commission they are willing to pay for a sale.

Ok, thanks folks. Disappointing to read but saves me wasting my time.

Since SS are introducing $1.50 video commissions as part of some large clip packs, I might consider uploading to Dreamstime to try and compensate for those meager amounts.

Commission is too low.  Please don't upload there.  It's bad for us all.

I have 10,000 or so videos on DT and earn $65 per month.
