Please advice. Videographers, the footage taken with Iphone 5 or 6 are accepted by SS or P5. I'm not expert but seems that technical are similar I mean .mov and hd resolution and so. Thank you.

Using the iPhone for stills to get shots you might otherwise not get is great and maybe video can be considered similarly, but not as a primary camera, that would be a waste of time.

The iPhone can shoot great video but has it limitations. I bet I could use it full-time for stock if I had to. I don't
use normal equipment like most video producers, I use an Olympus EM-1 and a BMPCC for my video needs.

I use to get the footage with a 5DII but I have some interesting videos...street video or so and I wonder if they accepted by their rules, I couldn't find it in guidelines. P5 use to ask for the camera source. May I will try on next submit....

It would be interesting to see how this is answered. iPhone 6 can do 60FPS and then I can reproach at 30 or 24 to slow down the footage for a polished look. I might play with it today just to see how it looks compared to my D7100.

I´m guessing that, like with stills, if all the other variables are perfect... great lighting, nice subject etc. etc. then using a phone would work and be decent quality. If the light gets dim or the focus needs challenging, the phone video will fall apart.

I have a video clip shot on iPhone in HD1080P on both SS and P5. It has sold more than 10 times or so. It's more about the content, I think.
