Fotolia is showing a clear sign of video sales growth probably due to the Adobestock integration.  This year's growth is accelerating now.  I'm seeing 3-4x sales compare to last year's same month.  Please don't tell anybody about this because it will "dilute" my sales.  LOL.

I don't know about videos since I don't any many yet, but my images have been selling really well on FT. I'm still working to get my entire portfolio up on FT and when I do...I estimate that earnings will be on par with SS.

I'm anticipating a big week next week since a lot of images got approved on Friday.

Congrats to you as well. It's good to hear stories of success.

I don't see the harm. People broadcast bad news on here all the time, so why not some good news as well?

Have we gotten so jaded that we think a bit of good news sounds...strange?

Agreed.  I'm sick of many whinos here.  Purpose of my post was to see if others are having similar surge in video sales on Fotolia.  Ain't nothing wrong with it.

I also see sales increasing, this year already more sales than 2015 total. So that is also 3 or 4 times more. Still a low seller though.

Minsc/ mincer/ hongover why the third name change? It's getting hard to remember who's who on this forum.

Congratulations unfortunately I cannot say the same. I found Fotolia extremely slow. The slowest among all agencies something like two year of Fotolia worth 1 month of SS

It is mildly picking up for me and I sold another video yesterday. But they are still only 25-40% of SS.

I really hope they introduce editorial photos and video soon, especially with video there is actually money in it, at least for me it is better than uploading editorial photos.

lol, when i read "en fuego"  , i was expecting to see fotolia to the right of this page in the 80s,
or at least close to that . but it is not even shaking the tree of istock,
or even alamy.

to me, that is not fuego...  not even smoke ;D
come back and put this when it topples alamy first. .
as Bruce used to say, "you can't build a fire without a spark!"

This is the last change. Promise.

The first change was because I need to be more anonymous when I reported someone for stealing my images. The second change was because I didn't know that the name Minscer was linked to some sex offender.

I only submit photographs; but for me Fotolia has been gaining in sales every month for the past year. (since Adobe). SS used to be my best; but now Fotolia is far in the lead. So far this month, my sales (and income) are running about 70% higher than SS; a pattern I've seen for the past 4 months.

This is the BEST reason I've read for a name change.  Can't blame you one bit.

On topic, I am glad to read of people doing well even when I'm not.  I am not so cynical to resent someone for having success.

It is good to gauge the state of the stock industry by hearing people report how they are doing.  This is also why I don't appreciate when people try to silence people who are seeing downturns by calling them whiners or whinos.

In my case, I  notice some improvement in Fotolia since Adobe bought them, but I was already doing pretty good there.

I think it is just a derogatory name for homosexuals like the three letter f word but the uk version. Either way fair enough.
