Go Cam? Or do you mean GoPro?

I don't know about Go Cam (never used) but seems to me quality of the video is not very suitable for MS. I'm using GoPro3 black and it's really amazing camera at 1080p60 / 720p120 / 1440p48 / 4kp15 / 2.7kp30 / WVGA-240fps. It's a bit expensive (450eur) for such a small camera but worth every cents.
Another option is Sony HDR-AS15 HD Action Camcorder at slightly better price.

Many of the sports networks use footage from these cameras -- motocross/supercross for instance mounts the camera on a helmet and records the race from racer point of view. Works great. If network uses the footage ... should be commercially viable. ;D

Have they sorted out the lock-up issues that I read about?

No firware update yet to fix the freeze issue, it is quite random though....

Have you had it happen to you?

not recently but happened few times not sure if it is related with unit overheating ... but it should not prevent you from buying one, it is fun:) sold one clip on shutterstock

I just sold my Hero1 to a friend, but I'm still a bit gunshy about the Hero3 Black... I REALLY want 1080p @ 60FPS, though!!

Large is the cheapest at 2.50. Unless thats what it needs to be,

ah yes I see I probably forgot to add the .00 on this one and it ended up at 2.5 . I ll double check thanks for letting me know:)

Thank you all. I have been thinking about doing some video. I am in a photo funk. You know the one: "I hate my camera and want to smash it to bits." That one. I have a somewhat limited budget for a vid. cam. The camera looks "fun" but maybe not very useful for stock.
Always thankful for the input.
