Wondering if anybody has sold any clips on Depositphotos yet? I know this this will probably bring a flood of comments saying they don't pay enough and I agree...but just curious.

I already mentioned this in another thread but their main search bar excludes video from being directly searchable. Although if you put 'footage' into the search it does bring back some results with mixed pricing. To me this says they either haven't gone 100% live with footage or they are not taking it seriously.

I refuse to upload footage to DP due to their inability to tell me how much commission I will get for subscription sales. Even if they could, it probably would be too low for me to start uploading there.

I see video files in the newest uploads widget on their site but they you cannot search the site.

Trying to hover over the video thumbnail results in an unresponsive browser and/or the preview takes forever to load.

Regarding going live I would think it takes DP a while to build a significant footage library before opening the doors to everyone. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one unless they accept as many low quality footage files as they do with images.
