Hi,
Is there someone here who has gone through the process and knows how to create AI videos?
I'm interested in the workflow: what programs do you use, in what sequence, which one is paid and which one free...
Some people start with a still image and make a short video out of it. I have used Midjourney but I'd like to try Firefly now. How do you access Firefly? I have the bonus code as Adobe contributor.
Any info will be helpful.
Thanks in advance!

I used runwayml.com for few ai video for testing, but i prefer my video for stock. It was not bad, maybe I will try again in winter time. If we talk about profit from sales it was $ 0.00

I tried runway and pika but found the workflow not very satisfying and the results poor, too many videos are unusable.
It is much easier to do normal videos.
I will look at them again end of the year or maybe next year.
Perhaps when sora comes out, it will have a level of competency to be usable for stock.
There is so much that can go wrong and you cannot selectively edit a region or problem. The clip either works or it doesn't. I mean ai still has huge problems with image creation, especially hands, mouth, faces...I don't see how ai video can be ready soon.

As I understand it, now you can only upload such videos to Adobe?
There are probably some other sites, but is there any income there.

I just gave Sora a try, and honestly, I’m not impressed. During the promo, they showcased carefully selected clips, but the actual experience doesn’t live up to that hype.

One of my favorite:

That is really funny!
So, sora is also still just hype and "potential" and not really professionally usable.
If they ever get it right with photos, then ai video will certainly be interesting.
Or maybe for abstract fantasy concepts.
Perhaps as a creative editing tool expand the clip, change some details etc...that might be a useful first step. Ai enhancing of camera videos.
I will focus on normal clips I need to add thousands of them for regulr income.
First goal - to once have a month with one video sale a day over all agencies, even for pennies.

Exactly, Sora still feels more like hype and ‘potential’ than something truly professional or usable right now. Maybe in a year or two, it could improve, but for now, it’s just not there. Real videos remain my priority too, though I also enjoy 3D simulations.
AI might have a place as a creative editing tool—expanding clips, tweaking details, or enhancing camera videos—but it’s not quite ready for real-world use.
Wishing you and the entire microstock community a very Merry Christmas! Let’s keep pushing towards our goals!

What about VEO 2 from google? Is it as bad as Sora or better?

There's currently a waiting list for Veo 2. I'm still on it myself, and from the rumors and what I've seen on their page, it looks like it should be better.

I’ve watched several videos about VEO 2, and some of them are absolutely amazing. I can’t help but feel both amazed and fearful at the same time. As they say, "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst." Either way, I’m ready.

It will probably be possible to sell such a video only on Adobe. When many people start generating videos, everything will be very similar.
There are already many of these images on Adobe, but the income of photographers has not decreased.
