Hi all,

I convert video clip done by my DSLR, which is avi fomat. I convert it to mov format using quicktime, and 95 quality.

I notice the size of video file is jumping from 85M to 139M, why the size is bigger than original file??

Do i need to put down the quality to get smaller file size?

Both AVI and MOV are just containers which can include video and audio tracks compressed with many different codecs. And the same quality, e.g. 95, can mean different levels of compression and quality.
