Post by: snaprender on August 04, 2009, 17:49
Hey everyone,
Just gone done with July's footage stats: http://snaprender.blogspot.com/ (http://snaprender.blogspot.com/)

July turned out to be a little better than June thankfully.  How did everyone else do?

August was my "Best Month Ever" for sales on Pond5.  I'm very pleased.  Still on track to start making a full-time living from footage by the end of the year.

Yeah, I was really excited about P5's August, and am even more excited about Sept.  So, far it looks like September might be able to out do August and become the new BME.

glad to see that Pond5 is doing well. I Just started uploading some videos on Pond5 and Shutterstock, hope to get few sales new month:)
I am still waiting to apply to Istock is it as difficult as for the pictures to get in?

Thanks
L

I've only 15 clips on P5, all fairly recent uploads taken with my 5D MkII
With 2 sales at $25 each (my share) this week I am encouraged to upload more.

It was easy when I applied earlier this year but reviews take a very long time there.

I have had footage waiting since the end of July at iStock. Took three weeks to get reviewed and approved, and over three weeks so far to get through the final stage and put live on the site. I think they are looking for additional footage reviewers.
