Hello everyone. Please criticise my portfolio:

In general I take aerial views and time lapses. Travel mostly. I'm uploading in prores codec to SS, fotolia, pond5 and videoblocks. Just one clip has been sold, in 4k quality though.
I know there are some rubbish clips I've taken just to "get and upload something" in ragged day (especially in winter).
I'm really interested in microstocks and almost ready for full time job in these clips themes. I can adapt and change themes of my videos but I'd like to keep something interesting in my life. According to my plan I will be able to upload about 1000-1500 clips during the year without too much similar videos.
So what do you think about prospective of such themes? Is it at least partially stock topic?
What do you think about aspect ratio? In my clips it is 1.8963:1 mostly (Actually it corresponds to 4096 X 2160 sizes). Are there any disadvantages in comparison with 16:9?
How do you change preview picture guys (thumbnail)? Set poster frame in Adobe Premiere Pro does not work always. I mean it's not "captured" by all stock agencies.

About the ratio I think that using the most standard one will give you more possibilities to sell your work.

SS: you can change the thumbnail after the footage has been approved (under Approved Footage Clips).

Hi. that's phantom 4 pro. My flow is pretty standard, I'm using adobe premiere pro.
Can you please provide a couple of examples which you think can benefit with contrast and saturation bump?

I think that it is better to let this work to the final user who will color grade the clip according to the own necessity.

I've heard people say it both ways. Give the rawest for to the end user or make the clip appear cool enough for them to use out of the box
The beach flybys for example would look amazing at sunset with a warm saturated look

Yes, I too.
Personally I think that if you shoot with a neutral or flat curve it is good to add then a minimum of correction for the contrast and the luminosity before to submit, but no more. If you begin to touch color and saturation you risk to make irreversible changes and this can leads to a loss in quality after further corrections.
Maybe to submit both versions, one neutral and one color graded?
Will the sites accept this?

Don't know if they accept this. Plus it effectively doubles your workflow unless you've figured out a lightroom type program for video

I think it's better to submit just one variant with moderate color correction. But to be honest I don't know. It depends on a clips percentage customer will post-process

If you work with DaVinci Resolve you can use one node for the base correction and a second one for the strong color grading. Then export both the versions.
Yes it is a little more work.
To be honest I have not the best answer.
Maybe asking directly to the sites they will give us the answer, according to their experience.

some nice videos...aerial today is very easy and that0s reflected by the 1000000 of files already present in the collection.
i began with phantom 2 3 years ago and then added s800 evo and other copter.
in my opinion before you jump and think of living with this kind of stuff you should check and recheck your business plan.
search for russia aerial and you will find thousand of aerial already, in russia there are no law and you are allowed to fly everywhere compared to many countries, so it's easy to make some urban aerial, but the point is the market is so big for russia pure aerial?
in addiction as you did that, u spend just 1300 dollar for a quad, practically everybody can replicate this and did already, so barrier to entry are very low. i still take aerial but more for fun. aerial is already a dead sector even in micro.
