Title: SS MR for video
Post by: Yay Images Billionaire on November 22, 2015, 22:24
Have SS changed their rules about video MRs? I've been using my standard photo MR (based on IS one) for years. Suddenly the last batch was rejected with:

"Model Release not valid. Please resubmit with a proper video model release"

Have they changed the requirements or was this just an erratic reviewer?

I'm exclusive to iStock, so this doesn't effect me at the moment. But since I'm using the standard iStock model release, I'm wondering if there's a better release that I should be using to future-proof myself in case I would like to put my videos on other sites in the future.

Where do you see the different MR? Both SS and IS only have one MR template on their downloads page.

I doubt it's necessary. Besides this one occurrence at SS, the IS MR I use for video is accepted at Pond 5, VB, Nimia, 123RF, and Motion Elements.
