I used the 5DII to create the application videos for IS. Mp4 H.264 and all the shebang, but it is being rejected for not adhering to the 1080 pixel height limit and of course I tried 1080p and 720p submissions. I am so frustrated. Which programs are you guys using to generate your application files after they re-opened the application process. Any help welcome.
Thanks

I am suggesting convert video in any program to the QT with Photo-JPEG compression. On Window use After FX, Premier, Vegas or similar program and on MAC use After FX, FC or similar.
Use Photo JPEG compression with at least 95% quality.

PS: My 5D MkII is shipped today. I am soooooooooooo Excited!!!! AC-Foto Germany rulez!!!

Thanks. What I do not understand is how does Photo-JPEG compression adhere to the h.264 codec since that is what IS apparently wants. Well I will try again.
Thanks again

You definitely have to convert the h.264 clips out of the camera to PhotoJPEG. I got mine accepted on IS today. This process applies to pretty much any stock footage site you might submit to.
Practically no one will accept a h.264 encoded clip.

Well I did get my application files accepted, but only at 800x450 resolution with H.264 codec encoded mov. I realize that final submission of video files will have to be in Photo JPG so I will have that ready in 1080p. Now I just have to wait for my acceptance to come through.

Good luck with your videos! Send us IS link. I like to see some 5DMkII videos on stock finally.

For my peace of mind and my ability to speak freely I'd rather not share my IS ID.
