Did anyone got their payments??

I was wondering that they have unlimited library and marketplace too,

Do people earn in unlimited library too?? means how are the earning determined..

Yes, waiting my 3rd payments on the 15th.

From my understanding unlimited library is their 'own content' (from contents buy out from original artist, think bigStock video) thus their main source of income.

I got paid promptly on the 15th of the following month already.  I'm sorry to hear that some foreign contributors are having problems.  They should definitely do something quick.

For those interested, my payment issues still not resolved and July's payment carried over to August (yet again).

Sorry to hear that.  I got paid yesterday as promised.  3 prompt payments on the 15th of following month.

Eco, the same situation with me. I wait for my payment for 3 monthes and every time - there is some reason, of why the payment was failed. They don't write any notifications or something.. After the failed payment I don't see that money appears again in my account.

I write them last e-mail, and I think that I also ask to delete my account. There are about 3000$ earned, I am sure that I woun't see them..

So - people - videoblocks - is just a some-kind of financial pyramid, just open your eyes on it..

Would be good to get someone from videoblocks to comment about why some people aren't getting a payout.  Until that is cleared up, I think a lot of us wont want to upload our portfolios.

Hi, I had an email from VB asking if I could supply them some clips for their subscription site last week, they now have their clips and I got paid this morning. Found them very nice to work with.

I have nothing to do with VB I live in a village in South Wales UK they are US based.

No complaints here

I got my payment after fourth try of Tax declaration. At the end they red my previous declarations and told me exactly what I had to write. They were very helpful

Guys, I got my first payment on the 15th, and two days before that I got an email that I wasn't approved for payment (I forgot to submit my tax info), so I went back, did what I was asked to do and I thought that I will miss this deadline and that I will be payed in August. But, no. I was cleared for payment and money was on my Payoneer account yesterday :)

For a relatively new agency they are doing far greater job then some other relatively old agencies... Sales are there, royalties are ok, payment is on time... I'm from Serbia and no problem with the payment at all. Check your accounts people, maybe you forgot to fill in something like I did.

Anyways, pond5 almost dead this month yet SS is going like crazy :) If it weren't for some private matters I would pursue Dissolve, SS and Videblocks head on.
And Dissolve is a surprise this month also (last month). Biggest payout since they started.
My 2c.

mirkic, how do you think - if people from videoblocks said, that: "all is ok with your financial info, you will get the payment next month", and next month you hear: "Oh, there was some error during payment, you'll see your money next month", you wait next month, writing e-mails to them etc.. and get the same result next month..

And some people get their payments normally.. What does it remind me? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramid_scheme

If VideoBlocks is really serious about resolving these payment issues as they publicly stated here they will have to make a more serious effort to resolve any problems IN A TIMELY MANNER and not wait a whole month to review tax forms and only notify contributors of a problem a few days before payment is due.

I just get the idea they are quite happy to let non-payments drag on for months and that they don't consider payments as something of importance to contributors. We all remember the famous quote: "you are not in this for the money".  ;)

I've had payouts two months in a row with no problems. The people not getting paid...are you sure your tax info is correct?

Its now about whether the tax info is correct or not, but about the fact that they wait a month before they review the tax info and only notify you about a problem just before payment is due. When a new tax for is submitted the whole process started again and payments are missed, month after month.

emblem, if I've received this e-mail 2 months ago, what can it mean?

"Our finance team has approved your tax forms so you will now receive payment on the next payouts July 15. Unfortunately our team was not able to review all forms in time for June payment, as we had many contributors to review. Appreciate your understanding but you are now good to go and you will receive payments monthly going forward for all sales!"

I think, that it means, that I've submit the correct tax-form..

Well it's reassuring that we got word from Videoblocks here. I was feeling nervous whether joining was the right thing to do after reading all these problems with getting payed. My uploads were finally approved!

Do contributors get mail for every sale? I don't see options for this in the contributor pages.

Eco, We're discussing internally how we can make the payment process smoother. I'll take any feedback here into consideration. We want this to be as painless and efficient as possible for everyone.

Thank you Adam.

Here are my suggestions:

1) If VideoBlocks adopt the principle that it is NOT ACCEPTABLE to delay the earnings of contributors for months, regardless of the reason(s), it will be an excellent starting point.
2) Simplify the tax forms. VideoBlocks are the first agency that I know of that require contributors to fill in the clause according to which they are claiming treaty benefits.  What contributor will know that they are claiming benefits according to Section 12(1) of some IRS regulation? That type of information should be part of the form.
3) Review tax forms within a week to allow ample time to make corrects before payments are due.
4) Be very specific what the problems are. Vague statements are not helping anybody.
5) Prioritize review of second submissions of the tax forms and notify contributors in a timely manner.
6) Improve your verification procedures to prevent contributors already approved not receiving their payment.

Only if they actually sort the problems out and they don't let situations like this happen in the first place.

Well, in comparison with other agencies, these guys came much quicker to respond here. So Respect for that ...and Thank You VideoBlocks!
