Hi list,
on Pond5 I see videos with the description 'VJ loop'. What is 'VJ' standing for?
-
Video Jockey
Someone who play videos.. like a disk jockey (one who is in control of the music at a dance for example)
-
And why are those clips named like that? They look just like a simple seamless loop. Is there anything special about a 'VJ loop' compared to a 'loop'?
-
VJ loops are typically longer and have different elements to them. To decide if your loop is a VJ loop, watch it while listening to music and see if that changes how you perceive it. If it seems different, tag it.

Another free vj loops download (http://limeartgroup.com/category/vj-loops-video-footages/free-video-loops/) can then! I am sure that you will like.

And it'll normally be motion graphics and funky visuals... like the effects you used to get when you played a CD on your Playstation! Something to feed the kids' eyes as they dance away to the 'phat choons' and 'gritty wobs'.
