I just had a sale of amazing 85$ for which I got $44.20.. did anyone got it?

License   Ultimate
Size   Vector and Large JPEG
Price   $85.00
Your Earnings   $44.20

When I read the terms it says:
Ultimate License - $85.00
An Ultimate License grants you both the Standard and Merchandise Licenses outlined above with no limit to the number of copies that can be made. Use in items for resale Unlimited copies.

Is this earning worth it?

Well the Unlimited Copies for resale items is a bit worrying.

That sounds great!  Congrats.

Ya this sounds great.. but the license says unlimited copies which you can resale.?? As if they have purchased the entire copyright of the license.

I am little confused with the license, is this right??

No they don't mean to resell the image on it's own, but to resell the image on something else, like on a card, a t-shirt, etc.  What I like about GL's EL is that they don't allow people to resell on products on Print On Demand.  What I don't like about GL that I've just noticed recently is that they've added the dreaded Pin button at the bottom of our images :(

I left DT because of this now I'll probably leave them too.  Pfft.

It's a merchandising license, so they buy it so they can put it on a product like a t-shirt to resell. It's not to resell your actual image.

Somebody beat me to it. What he/she said.

I just want to highlight how great GL is.  I didn't contact them about my concerns re the Pin button but today I noticed that the button is gone from underneath our images.  That was all it took... my one post here about it.  They paid attention and acted immediately.  How cool are they?

In contrast we spent months on the DT forum trying to convince them to remove the Pin button or at least give us an opt-out.  They wouldn't budge.

I'm so impressed, I had to come back to this thread and share the good news.

Thanks GL, you're all class!

I wish they had more buyers.  Could be a great site where we are making a little more than peanuts. So is POND5...the potential is really there.

Kelly does a great job running the site IMO. The home page is always beautiful. It is good to see it when MSGers go out of their way to support GL - it is one of the good guys.
