GraphicLeftovers - Pricing

(1/2) > >>

jareso:
I have a question regarding pricing of images at GraphicLeftovers. I am totally new to that site but to my big surprise I had sale (5$) yesterday just few minutes after my file was approved! – That made me very happy and one thing came to my mind. What about rising prices to maximum? (20$) What do you think? Do buyers on this site "look at prices" or they really "don‘t care". My point is that I am little bit afraid to raise prices because that could lead to no sales. I am unsure anyway. Any thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. How does pricing affect sales there?

sharpshot:
I have kept all mine at $5, as they sell one size, so I get a higher commission average than with the micros.  I would rather buyers stayed there than looked at the other micros, where I usually average around half the commission per sale or worse.

MicrostockExp:
I put all mine  at  $5 also, except few at $10: similar images were not in their database

Yes, probably this is the right way to go. Pricing common images at default 5$ and then pricing unique or not so common images higher.

All of mine are priced $10, and I've had good sales with the site. I highly doubt it would benefit me if I halved those prices.
