Hello all,

I'm pretty new to the Microstock world and have a small batch of files at DT and Fotolia.

The DT back-end is pretty poor. I did figure out how to upload my vector files with the JPG, but the vectors still aren't showing up as an available file format. It took a week for DT to approve the files, and now 2 weeks later the vectors are still listed as "Pending Review". Is this normal?

My vector uploads to Fotolia have been approved right away, sometime within just a few minutes.

DT can take a while to approve the vector files. A month isn't that unusual. Contributors have often complained about it, but nothing has been done.

I've never had an eps file take more than 3 weeks to be reviewed and I think that was during the start of the holiday season last year.  Most of the time it's 2 weeks which has been my experience.  Everyone's experience with that are different but 2 weeks is what I usually have happen.

Takes awhile for FT sales to take off.  If it takes me longer to reach my next payout (just took one the other day still waiting on it) - more than 5 months - I'll probably make the decision to get rid of them.  Sales there at the start of this year have been dismal.  And the fact that they cut their commissions hasn't helped in that matter either.

I have only sold one vector file so far, and that was only a few hours after uploading on Fotolia. I have had some small success with photos on DT, but not any of my illustrations.
