There is one there that I don't have on Istock so they are getting them from other places as well.

But if you found any of your images, contact Zazzle. They should remove product and shot designer.

There's a DMCA notice link at the bottom of their home page that brings up the Zazzle DMCA notice information.

It's just a Zazzle affiliate.   Keep clicking on the image and it will direct you to the Zazzle product.  From there, scroll down a little and click on "Report Violation", next to Rated G. 

I've reported several myself and they're pretty quick to take down the product.

So that means Sean's images are being used at Zazzle>Bumper Stickers from Corbis from Getty or istock?

A lot of them have getty watermarks when you zoom in or click the "design" button.

This is weird.  When I click through to the image on Zazzle, I can click through to the store which is prophoto (http://www.zazzle.com/prophoto) which has a section for iStockoto.  If you scroll to the bottom of prophoto's store you'll see 2012 © Getty Images

Surely this isn't iStock doing this, is it?  I would say no but after finding out that Pinterest is now one of their affiliates, nothing surprises me anymore.

One of "Sean's" stamps was created on March 1st 2012.

Didn't iStock or Getty recently announce that they are closing their on demand store on Zazzle?

Well here is another one called "prophoto" which looks like to be affiliated somehow with the Getty family.

Maybe it's time again to contact CR at IS to get to the bottom of this - unless they just hit the usual reply button:

Easy enough was take a look and found registered by proxy so the owner wants to be unidentified. I can't remember if there is a FOIA provision for that? Supposedly the Internet requires real names and identification for a website. I get my request every couple of years for all of them, checking my address and phone number? Oh yes, but you pay GoDaddy, they register the name and you get it anonymously. Seems kind of odd that someone with a website would want to be anonymous, doesn't it? I mean World Wide Web with information and photos and then, secret identity for registrar?  ;D

Maybe but people pay an extra fee to be anonymous. The idea is you register through the company and they are the registrant, not you (legally) so your name is hidden. The whole Internet registration process was supposed to be so that you or I or anyone could see who was running a site. It was supposed to be transparent and open. So if GoDaddy is the registrant, they have a record, which is not public from what I see, but kept in case of legal issues, so it's not secret, just no public.

Also you can't register under assumed names and pseudonyms. In theory.

The same ideas that make the Internet free and open, are also designed to make it open and not filled with frauds and fakes. This registration dodge gets around that.

Longish story but some people I know who exposed puppy farms and animal abuse had their site shut down by one of the people who had been outed, which included her court convictions. She wrote to the site host and threatened, she also had people calling the site owner. They shut down the site exposing her actions. So the guy had to register private with someone else to continue to publish the facts and truth.

All my sites are registered in my name and public and basically, no one cares.  :D I don't really have anything close to controversial on my pages.
