And once again, this is why DMCA is a toothless guard dog, that doesn't even bark.
We chase, they remove, maybe. We chase, they give us the finger. They know that there's nothing that will harm them and no one will take them to court over a Microstock image. I wish there was something different. Good for the UK finally trying something that has some value for us!

I am from Croatia and know several lawyer that are specialized for copyright cases (mostly photos), that work on percentage.
Also, I know few well known photographers from here that make living from those copyright claims and they are very happy when they see their work stolen on other sites or printed on products, because they know it's certain money.
They are not microstock photographers tho but I believe if your work is stolen and offered for free it isn't much difference.

I agree. Ask them what you can do or if you can get something back, more than what it costs to chase these robbers? That's the problem.

I donīt know if this is of any help on this subject- but copytrack.com offers to claim your rights with their own lawyers.... And then keep their share if successful.
I havenīt had a claim yet, so I donīt know if it works, but maybe itīs worth a try?
