That means they are offering free images with meta data stripped out! That will make them orphan images floating round on the net for anyone to grab, unless the copyright owner discovers them and issues DMCA notices.

Well they don't really have a leg to stand on. It isn't users uploading to the site, they are getting the work themselves without checking the copyright status. Another site simply stealing work.
