Title: mixed pics dot xyz - what is this and is it legitimate
Post by: cathyslife on December 04, 2015, 07:54
I am signed up for google alerts. They hardly ever work, but I got one yesterday with a link that says Mixed Cathleen A Clapper on Online RSS. The link takes me to www dot mixedpics dot xyz/Cathleen-A-Clapper

Most of the images are watermarked Shutterstock images, which I don't mind, but clicking them doesnt take you to Shutterstock to purchase it, instead it tells you how to download free images  >:( . Some of the images aren't even mine. If I right click on the unwatermarked horse trotting in fog, I can download a small image that has been stolen from istock (I haven't had my images on istock for years). If I click the link from the google alert multiple times, sometimes different images come up. Again, most watermarked (see some from Fotolia too) but I found another unwatermarked image that is 3.333x2.41 at 300ppi, large enough to use.

I have sent a DMCA for the one image to the site, let's see what is done about it.

Does anyone know what this is or how it is being generated?
