Title: Stock images in big resolution without watermark at blog.posterjack.ca
Post by: palagarde on February 19, 2013, 09:57
Hi,
Lot of microstock images with very big resolution in this blog, I found one of mine in full resolution with Google image.
Perhaps he bought them but is it legal to put full resolution without buying extended licence? (my photo has never sold in extended licence)

Thank you for you help.

Generally putting them at such a high resolution is usually not allowed, even with an EL.
If you know which agency they licensed the image from, check that agency's T&C then (assuming they have a limit) contact the agency's support team.

It may just be ignorance on the blogger's part about how to resize a file down, which is so often why you can click on a small-looking web image and get to a larger version.

Thank you,
I saw that he bought it at Fotolia.
I read on Fotolia licence : display shall be limited to a resolution of 1,000 x 1,000 pixels in website uses.
I'll send a message to the webmaster.
