Title: Stolen images on onlyimage.com
Post by: LesPalenik on November 16, 2014, 17:53
http://www.onlyimage.com (http://www.onlyimage.com)

this site lifts small images from FAA (900 pixels wide), Shutterstock (incl. shutterstock watermark), and other agencies and offers them for free. They make money by displaying ads on each page between the images.

I just checked to see if some of my images are there via FAA. Haven't found any (yet, only one big search term), but there are plenty of editorial images being offered free with no restrictions. Don't know if they were stolen or just 'donated' by the innocent/clueless.

Looks like some kind of live search spider. My trap photo from FAA for three distinctive keywords doesn't show up.

My SS editorial shows on the right "Premium Stock Images" exact keywords and punctuation from SS.

The top row is apparently just outright stolen images, hosted locally. This site has a number of different searches crawling for images, whenever someone enters keywords. They are placed top, right and left center, from multiple sources and searches.

Pretty plain, in discriminant theft and scripted linking.

Found my image there, the Report Abuse form won't submit. Perfect.

Found one of my images being offered for free there.  Submitted an email to them following their DMCA rules (see bottom of their home page).  Now the image shows up as broken and when you click it you go to a "404 - Page not Found" page so I guess it worked.

chrisbradshaw, did you ever ask them how many times people downloaded your work (for free) from this site?
