stolen: http://www.cashmyjunkfiles.com/catalog/7049.html (btw, badly screwed up color profile)

original: http://www.dreamstime.com/cellphone015icons3-image1303273
stolen: http://www.cashmyjunkfiles.com/catalog/6967.html (again, screwed up colors)

thief's gallery: http://www.cashmyjunkfiles.com/portfolio/vectorman.html
you may want to check if there is any of your vectors there, i know i've seen this one on ss for example: http://www.cashmyjunkfiles.com/catalog/7009.html

has anyone heard of that site? is it legit?
any ideas? (besides contacting them)

ps. this is the first time i found an image of mine stolen... I should be happy i'm worth stealing from, rigth? ::)

It looks somewhat real, so you may try sending the site an email to remove the images.

I recognize two files from my friend too in this Creature portfolio called Vektorman.
Look like that Creature is BurglarMan.

Best of luck getting it sorted - it's sickening when you find someone else making money off your files.

You can take some consolation that (when looking at the stats at the top) his entire portfolio has only had 2 downloads!

Thanks guys,

I contacted the site, and the site's owner replied that he contacted the seller and if he doesn't get an answer in 48 hrs he'll take down the images.

now i'll wait to see what happens.

if someone else has images there (or know someone who does) I'd say contact them. I used the contact form on the site and got the reply in a couple of hours.

Good to hear. Hopefully, it gets resolved. You have to assume if this person stole one image, they stole others too.

Now looks like his entire portfolio has been pulled - when I click the link no images are showing. Result!  ;D

Hello Guys, I apologize for the issue,  I am owner of CashMyFiles.com and CashMyJunkfiles.com and I had removed the all the files (which were reported stolen) long time back , and for future I will make sure NO mass upload of stolen images is ever done. If anyone else has any issue with the listings, Please let me know.  My goal is NOT to make any money by helping dishonest people, instead I want to help my users to sell their files easily, and If I succeed in helping my users sell their files I would be happy to get 10% of the deal.

Have a good day!

How can you expect to be taken seriously calling people's images "junk"

Even the biggest agencies praise the images as the best on the internet.. Who are you to call them "junk"  :D

I don't think you (cash my files site owner) are taking this business seriously enough.

If people can sell movie posters or the like with logos on them from "Paramount Pictures":
http://cashmyjunkfiles.com/files/medusa-.html (and check the other image in this person's portfolio).

there is something majorly wrong.

There is something called "intellectual property" - you may have heard of it. It grants all copyrights to the creator of the files and not any 3rd party (unlike your "contributors").

Those image collection  files you are selling look fishy too. I won't be tracking down any copyright holders but eventually you'll get word from them I'm sure.

This is a good example of how not to start an online business.

Yes, I would agree with you on points you made, I am in process of getting the site clean from listings which have issue of copyright and to be honest cashmyfiles.com is for junk files/wasted files which are not approved by clients. I am new to business will learn a lot in process. I will try to make site as safe as possible for sellers and buyers to avoid any legal trouble. Thank you for pointing out the issues.

Try to make it safe  ??? You're not getting the picture that what you are saying is you'll try to avoid commiting federal crimes. I would learn first not learn in the process .. learning in the process at this rate is going to land you in a lawsuit. If I was paramount I would say hmmm I wonder what kind of house this guy has .. because we're about ready to cash it in .. his bank account .. that's ours now .. car .. we'll take that too .. Tax Returns for the rest of your life .. garnished .. hell let's garnish his wages for the next few decades while we're at it .. and you'll feel lucky because  the went easy on you so you didn't have to worry about dropping the soap.

The funny thing was that I only heard about this site when I came on here this morning and it happened to the the ad which was at the right of the four ads at the top of the page - I clicked on it out of curiosity, then came back here and immediately spotted this thread!

Looks like they are now an MSG sponsor. Well money is money I guess.

No, money is definitely not money.  I try to screen advertisers as best I can and check to make sure they are of value to microstock photographers.  When they first signed up I spent quite a while checking for mis-used content and was unable to find any.  I did quite a few searches about the site itself as well and didn't manage to turn anything up that showed they had questionable content.  I obviously overlooked the files that were pointed out in this thread however (and which have since been removed from cashmyfiles).  In all fairness, I think kpmedia is trying hard to keep the site free from stolen content - that said however, the advertising has been refunded and postponed until they get their content fully in check - no hard feelings.
